Richard Glenn Mccoy

Richard Glenn McCoy, 75, of West Caln, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Maher McCoy with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Harold A. McCoy and Mabel D. Sweigart McCoy.

Glenn was an area resident all his life and a 1966 graduate of the former Scott High School in Coatesville. After graduation, he enlisted in the US Navy where he served in active duty from 1966 to 1976.

He was employed as a  mechanic at the Navy Shipyard in Philadelphia and more recently he was employed by Omegaflex in Exton, PA as a maintenance mechanic.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two sons; Douglas F. McCoy of Thorndale, PA and Michael G. McCoy and wife Tracey of West Caln, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one sister Rochelle J. Ross and husband Owen of Coatesville, PA.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
