Raymond W. "Catty" Jackson

Raymond W. "Catty" Jackson, 69, of Cochranville, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at his home.  He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Dero) Jackson and the widower of the late Clydie E. Jackson.



Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Raymond W. and Anna E. "Betty" (McClure) Jackson.



He served honorably in the US Army and was a Vietnam Combat Veteran.



He worked with PennDot as a Heavy Equipment Operator, retiring seven years ago.



He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his daughter, Debbie Laffey, wife of Andrew, of Cochranville; three step-grandchildren; and three siblings, Marilyn MacDowell of Chesapeake City, MD, Frank Jackson of Modena and Barry Jackson of Mortonville.  Predeceased by his brother Roy Jackson.



The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday evening, February 8th, 2012 at 8 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 7 until 8 PM.
