Poulson Bolden Jackson

July 20, 1955 — March 7, 2017

Poulson Bolden Jackson, 61, devoted husband, father, Pop Pop and friend, departed this earth on March 7th, 2017 in Atlanta, GA.  He was born on July 20, 1955 in Coatesville, PA, and the son of the late Betty Morton and Paul Leslie Jackson. In addition to his parents, Poulson was preceded in death by his beloved sister Carol Farmer and brother Kenneth Jackson.

Poulson graduated from Octorara High School in Atglen, PA and continued as a dedicated serviceman in the U.S. Army from December 1971 to May 1983. Poulson is survived  by his loving wife, Wilma Jackson of Decatur, GA, his children, Paul Thompson, Lisa Jackson, Kellen Jackson, Akeeya Alexander, his stepchildren Marcus Langley, Allen Garland and Marcedes Holiday (Damien), his sisters Donna Draper (David), Valerie White, Mildred Jackson, Jessie LaMotte; brother, Jesse Morton,11 grandchildren-who he absolutely adored, his nieces and nephews-who he treated like his own children, and a host of loving family and friends.

Poulson Jackson would want nothing more than a celebration of his life and all of the people that loved him to participate in celebration. Let's allow his presence to light up a room one final time at 11 AM, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street, Parkersburg, PA, with a viewing from 9 until 11 AM.

A special thank is extended to the Heart Failure Clinic as well as the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, GA who not only expertly cared for Poulson Jackson but became a part of our extended family as well.
