Philip W. Mowrey

Philip W. Mowrey, 67, of Parkesburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the Brandywine Hospital.

Philip was the son of the late Lillian Hazel (Mullen) and Norris Levis Mowrey, Sr. He was a 1964 graduate of the Octorara High School.

Philip served his country honorably with the US Marines from 1964 to 1968. He served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, obtaining the rank of Sergeant.

He produced credit cards for 15 years.

Philip is survived by his brothers, Norris L. Mowrey Jr., Brian H. Mowrey and Stuart G. Mowrey; and his aunts, Jane Ann Mullen and Shirley Rigoroso; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

The interment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
