Patricia Lynn Florian

Patricia L Dean Florian of Coatesville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 26, 2021, in West Chester, at the age of 67.

Born October 1st, 1953 at Elkton Memorial Hospital in Elkton, MD, she was the beloved daughter of the late John H Dean Sr and Bettie A (McWilliams) Dean.

Patricia graduated from Coatesville Area High School in 1971.  She worked at the former Lukens Steel before retiring from The Vanguard Group, Inc.

She dedicated her life to her family. One of the greatest joys in life was being “Mom Mom” to her grandchildren.  She enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family, crossword puzzles, and decorating for the holidays, hanging her twelve grandchildren’s stockings from her fireplace mantel was her favorite.

Patty is survived by 2 children; daughter Brianne (William “Paso”) Miranda of Pomeroy; and son Robert (Valoree) Florian Jr of Coatesville; and her 12 grandchildren; Nicholas Florian, Jared Florian, Jenna Rutledge, Anna Rutledge, Anthony Florian, Olivia Miranda, Natalie Miranda, Jack Rutledge, Sophia Miranda, Paige Rutledge, Madilyn Florian, and Zander Miranda all of whom she loved very much.

In addition, she is survived by brothers, John Dean Jr; Michael (Cecilia) Dean; Jeffrey (Deborah) Dean Sr; and sister Carole (Lewis) Ammon; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Rutledge and her sister Nancy K. Dean, maternal grandparents, J Vernon McWilliams and Amy (Wagner) McWilliams of Wagontown, and paternal grandparents, Harry R Dean and Freda (Jones) Dean of North East, MD.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa, with a visitation from 10 until 11 AM.  Interment will follow the funeral at Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg.
