Obe E. Bermudez

Obe E. Bermudez, 86, of Coatesville, died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Pablo and Petra Negron Bermudez.

She is survived by seven children; Aida Martinez of Santa Isabel, PR, Norma Santiago of Wilmington, DE, Carlos Bermudez of Shamokin, PA, Santos Ortiz of Coatesville, Luz Bernal of Coatesville, Yajaira Ortiz-Wilson of Washington, DC and Richard Bermudez of PA, 27 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren and six siblings; Afortunada Garayua, Eulogia Alvarez, Ramona Bermudez, Edivia Bermudez, Julio F. Bermudez and Julio Bermudez all of Puerto Rico. She was preceded in death by two sons; Confesor Ortiz and Raymond Bermudez.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:15am from St. Joseph's Church, 404 Charles St., Coatesville, PA followed by interment at the Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville, PA. The viewing will be held Thursday morning, 10 to 11am at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA.
