Norman Westley Semple, 65, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in West Chester. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of the late Foster Leroy and Mary Cox Semple.
Norman worked for over thirty years as a driver for Entenmann's Baking Company, retiring about ten years ago. Norman was a huge Philly sports Phan and loved going to Phillies and Eagles games as often as he could. He was once a member of a bowling league, numerous softball leagues, and loved poker nights and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Debbie Semple of Coatesville, his children; Jennifer Semple of Coatesville, Matt (Jennifer) Semple of Lumberton, NJ, Samantha (Warner) Semple-Williams of Woodlyn, PA, and Amanda Semple of Coatesville, Grandchildren; Christina, Stephen, Shawn, Gabrianna, Brody, Everleigh, Emma, Keeva, and Caine Semple, and siblings; Barbara Reese, Sandra Cross, and Emma Brooks. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Vick. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Lee Whitman, Charles Whitman, Jane Phillips, Richard Whitman, and Roy Semple.
A memorial drop-in will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Stroke Association.
