Norman R. Brown

Norman Richard Brown, 87, of Nottingham, PA, passed away in West Chester, PA, on Thursday, November 3, 2022. He was the husband of June Ann Sturges Brown. Born in Nottingham, he was the son of the late Horace C. and Alice V. Pless Brown.

Norman retired from the former Lukens Steel Company where he worked in maintenance.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Robin L. (Michael) Wray of Christiana, Jeffrey A. Brown of Nottingham, Sandra D. (Charles) Townsend of Oxford, Christopher L. Brown of Nottingham, Brenda J. (Leo) Deaver of Oxford, 18 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and siblings, Shirley Montgomery of California, and Helen D. Matyas of Berlin, MD. He was preceded in death by children, Richard K. and Clifford S. Brown, grandchildren, Josh, Michele, and Bryce, and siblings, Clyde and Delmar.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Oxford Cemetery.
