Nancy E. Stoltzfus, 78, of New Holland, PA peacefully went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Fairmount Homes of Ephrata. Born in Stevens, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clayton Hess and Ruth Landis Hess. Nancy was the wife of Leon A. Stoltzfus whom she wed on October 25, 1958. They had celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Nancy was a member of Ridgeview Mennonite Church where she taught Sunday School and was Director of Christian Education. Nancy also worked for many years as a travel agent and tour escort. She and her husband visited twenty-six countries and all fifty states. One of her favorite travel memories was a trip to South Island, New Zealand.
Nancy loved to spend time with her family, children, and grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Lynette Stoltzfus of Luxembourg, Brian Stoltzfus (Jean) of Reading, PA, Dean Stoltzfus (Teri) of Gap, PA, Beth Alderman (Eric) of New Holland, PA, and her nine grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, and Jacob Stoltzfus, Elli, Wade, and Cole Stoltzfus, and Zachary, Ethan, and Emily Alderman. Nancy was preceded in death by her grandson Travis Alderman.
Friends are invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM, and again on Monday, January 8, 2018, from 10 until 11 AM at Ridgeview Mennonite Church, 3723 Ridge Rd, Gordonville, PA 17529. The Funeral Service will be held at Ridgeview Mennonite on Monday at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nancy's memory to Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Rd., Lititz, PA 17543.
