Miss Ruth R. Keneagy

Ruth had been a resident of Pocopson Home since May 20, 1965.  According to Pocopson Home records, Miss Keneagy had lived at the home longer than any other resident.  She enjoyed singing, making up her own songs, attending church services, crocheting, making craft items, painting ceramics and playing bingo especially when she would win.

She was a member of the Olivet Methodist Church in Coatesville.

Miss Keneagy was preceded in death by a brother, Bertram (Bud) Keneagy and three sisters, Arlene F. McKee, Pauline Hess and Thelma Rodgers.  She is survived by a sister, Mary S. Miller and sister in law, Esther Keneagy and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Social Worker Services, the nursing staff, the aids and all the volunteers for the loving care they all gave Ruth the past 46 years while she was a resident of Pocopson Home.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family after the cremation.  Interment will be at the Kinzer Mennonite Cemetery in Kinzer, Pa., where she will be buried alongside her mother.
