Millicent R. Alexander, who just celebrated her 100 th birthday on September 10th, passed away peacefully at Harrison Senior living of Coatesville on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late James W. Alexander and daughter of the Edna (Ford) and John Regener.

Millicent was a 1937 graduate of Coatesville Area High School. She served her family as a homemaker for many years, while also acting as a volunteer for the Brandywine Hospital, a founder and charter member for the Coatesville Senior Center, and was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts who honored her with a 50-year pin. She was inducted into the Coatesville area Hall of Fame and is an honorary member of the Chapel of the Four Chaplains Philadelphia.

Millicent is survived by two daughters; Marilyn, wife of Dennis Kellon, and Susan wife of Bruce Young, grandchildren; Amy Clayville (Phillip), Daniel Young (Tiziana), Betsy Herb (Timothy), Joyce Harpel ( Jeffrey) and Gary Kellon (Danielle). Her great-grandchildren; Brandon, Megan, Justin, Nathan, Rebecca, Jacqueline, Daniel, Hannah, Summer, Julia, Jessica, James, Olivia. Millicent is also survived by her sister Charlotte Reeser and her brother Mervin Regener (Nancy). Additionally, she is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by siblings Arthur Regener, Clement Regener, Beatrice Eby, Eleanor Sharp, John Regener, Donald Regener, and Kenneth Regener (Kathy).

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 11 AM from Hephzibah Baptist Church 2237 Strasburg Rd, Coatesville, PA 19320. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period from 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will take place at the adjoining Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made in Millicent's honor to the following organization: The Suncatcher Fund with Holisticare Hospice, a charitable fund for hospice patients.  Donations can be sent to 685 Kroner Avenue Berwyn,  PA 19312.
