Mildred G. Boohar

Mildred G. Boohar, 77, of Valley Township, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Philadelphia.  She was the wife of the late Jacob H. Boohar who passed away in 1996.  Born in West Earl Township, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen Mary Derr Maestle.

Mildred loved animals and the beach.  She belonged to the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by a son, David Boohar of Valley Township, and siblings, Martin Maestle of Stevens, PA, Robert (Nancy) Maestle of New Holland, PA, Kim (Tim) Myers of Lewis, DE, and Albert Herr of Akron, PA.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Maestle.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Cochranville Methodist Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Chester County SPCA.
