Michael E. Whittington

Michael E. Whittington, 67, of Honey Brook, passed away at his home on Monday, August 8, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Linda L. Dorn Whittington with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. Born in Zepp, VA, he was the son of the late Elwood and Freida Orendroff Whittington.

Mike was formerly employed in maintenance at Blackhawk Apts. in Downingtown, PA. He was a member of the Valley Baptist Church.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by one son David Whittington of Honey Brook, one grandson Jude Bortner and two siblings; Max Whittington of Casa Grande, AZ and Eva Wallace of Stevens City, VA. He was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Valley Baptist Church, 200 Airport Rd., Coatesville, PA followed by interment at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery, Honey Brook, PA. Viewing and visitation at the church from 10 to 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the PKD Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64187-1847.
