Michael Clyde Swisher

Michael Clyde Swisher, 53, of Norcross, GA, formerly of Pomeroy, died on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Clyde H. Swisher, Jr. and Patricia O'Flaherty Swisher.

Michael was an area resident most of his life and a 1983 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School. Later, attended the North Dakota University in Botany, ND. After he moved to Georgia, he was employed by Unity Plus in the maintenance department.

Mike was a member of Boy Scout Troop #72 of Pomeroy where he was also inducted in the Order of The Arrow. He was a former member of the Masonic Blue Lodge #529 of Parkesburg and he was a former member of the Coatesville Jaycees.

He is survived by two brothers; Henry Swisher and wife Patricia of Pomeroy and William Swisher of Coatesville, Aunts, Uncles and one niece Stacey Amber Murray.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday evening, March 15, 2018 at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 at 7:00 PM with visitation from 6 - 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory directly to the Wilde Funeral Home at the above address to help defray funeral expenses.
