Merton Coffroath Sellers

June 4, 1929 — December 1, 2017

Merton Coffroath Sellers, 88, formerly of Coatesville, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017, at Pocopson home.  He was the widower of Billie Marie Doubts Sellers who died in 2013.  Born in Coatesville he was the son of the late Harry J. and Anna M. (Coffroath) Sellers.

Merton was a retired millwright from Lukens Steel Company and he served in the  US Army during the Korean Era.  He was a member of the Pomeroy United Methodist Church and the Brandywine Goddard Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by a son, Theodore M. and wife, Elaine Sellers of Downingtown, a daughter, Rebecca M. and husband, Paul Kosherzenko of Pennsauken, NJ, grandsons, Austin Matthew Sellers and Dylan Patrick Sellers of Atglen, grandson, Andrew Mark Kosherzenko and wife Lauren Nicole of Maple Shade, NJ, great granddaughter, Kayleigh Elizabeth Kosherzenko and siblings, Jacqueline Stevenson of Farmville, NC, and Harry J. Sellers Jr. of Hephzibah, GA.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Bernice Morrow, Virginia Dailey, Ruthie Pollock and Anne Sellers and a granddaughter, Colleen Kosherzenko.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 11:00am from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg with a viewing from 10:00am until 10:50am.  Masonic services at 10:50am.  Internment at Fairivew Cemetery, Coatesville.
