Mary A. Weir

Mary A. Weir, 85, of Gap, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Community Hospice and Care Center in Mount Joy, PA. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. Weir, Jr. who died in 2009. They shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Evan John Kurtz and Margaret Esther Trego Kurtz.

Mary was an area resident all her life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by four children; Judy Huss and husband Roy of Cleveland, North Carolina, Garry L. Bradford and wife Phyllis of Paradise, PA, June Bradford of Gap, PA and Roseanne Kime of Atglen, PA, eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation and viewing from 10:00 AM to the time of the service. Interment will follow at the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA.
