Mary L. Doss Forrester

Mary L. Doss Forrester, 91, of Atglen, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at Landis Homes of Lititz where she resided for the past 21 months. She was the wife of the late Clinton A. Forrester. Born in Virginia on October 15, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Matt Doss and Lena Mink Doss.

She was employed for many years with her husband in the Forrester News Agency in Atglen, and then later at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Coatesville as a salesperson. Mary was a resident of Atglen since 1942 and a member of the Penningtonville United Presbyterian Church of Atglen where she faithfully served as deacon for many years.

She is survived by one daughter; Barbara, wife of Dale T. Landis of Lititz, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandsons. She was preceded in death by a son Sherman Avery Forrester.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 11am from the Penningtonville United Presbyterian Church, 406 Main St., Atglen, PA 19310 followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation at the church from 10 to 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church Deacons at the above address.
