Marjorie Steinwachs Connell

Marjorie Steinwachs Connell, 95, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Freedom Village in West Brandywine.  She was the wife of the late John Edward "Jack" Connell who passed in 1998.  Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Max William and Mary Ann Johnson Steinwachs.

Marjorie was a resident of the Coatesville area and also lived for a time in Apollo Beach, FL.  She enjoyed sewing and singing.  She was a member of the Fraternal Chapter of the Eastern Star #249 of Coatesville and the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America, Inc. Sonit Court #103 of Sun City, FL. She also was a life member of Olivet United Methodist Church in Coatesville.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (John) Flynn of Bellefonte, PA, and Elizabeth Sue (James M.) Shaw of Elverson, PA, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth (Jack) Clark.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, with visitation starting from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville, PA.
