Marjorie Bithell Cardwell

She was the widow of Gilbert P. Cardwell who died in 1999 with whom she shared 51 years of marriage. Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Esther Zipf Bithell.

Marge was employed at Coatesville/Brandywine Hospital  from 1966 to 1986.  Both Marge and Gil volunteered at JAARS of Waxhaw, N.C. from 1986 to 1990.

Marge was a member of Calvary Monument Bible Church of Paradise.

She is survived by her three daughters: Nancy Heckman, wife of Lee, of New Holland, Pa., Diane Buckwalter, wife of Denny, of Erie, Pa., and Elaine Graybeal, wife of Phil, of Greenville, S.C.; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter Carol Richmond in 2011; as well as three brothers.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Tel Hai Chapel, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, Pa. with interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery in Parkesburg.  The viewing will be held on both Sunday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg and again on Monday morning at the Tel Hai Chapel from 9:30 until 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers,donations may be made in her memory to the Tel Hai Care Assurance Fund, Tel Hai Retirement Community, P.O. Box 190, Honey Brook, PA 19344.
