Marie D. Powers

Marie D. Powers, formerly known as Marie Richardson, was born on July 20, 1937, in Chester, Pennsylvania. She peacefully departed this life on March 20, 2025, in Honey Brook, Pennsylvania, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be cherished by her family and friends.

Marie was a beloved Mother, Wife, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother known for her kind spirit and nurturing nature. Her passion for animals, especially birds, reflected her gentle character and profound appreciation for the beauty of life. Family was at the center of Marie's world, and her eyes would light up with joy at the sight of her beloved grandchildren. Marie was also a huge Philadelphia Sports Fan.  Especially the Flyers.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty McClintock and Gloria Dolan And her Husband Charlie; her brother, Harry Richardson; her daughter, Kim Marie de Rham and her Husband Rufus; and her son, Ernest H. Taylor and his Wife Robin . Marie's legacy continues through her four grandchildren, Jesse Fitch, Matthew Taylor, Nicholas Taylor, and Joshua Taylor, as well as her great-grandchild, Skylar Fitch. The love she imparted to her family and the joyful memories shared will forever hold a place in their hearts.

Marie was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Richardson; her father, Harry Richardson; her brothers, James, Leroy, and Robert Richardson; her sister, Peggy Richardson; and her son, Edgar G. Russell. These family members are remembered fondly, having played significant roles in shaping the life that Marie led and the values she cherished.

Marie D. Powers will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, who carry forward her legacy of love and compassion.
