Marie K. Malmberg

Marie K. Malmberg, 90, of Atglen, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Hospice of Mount Joy. She was the widow of the late Carl W. Malmberg. Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Katheryn Gibbons Gilligan.

She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church of Parkesburg and was retired from Environmental Resources Management of Exton.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia A. Hougnon of Atglen, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a sister, Kathryn Emtage of North Wales, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Nickles, and a brother, Jack Gilligan.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 11:00, from Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Chesnut St., Parkesburg, followed by internment at the church cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Lancaster County, 685 Good Dr., Lancaster, PA 17604.
