Marcus Edward Sawhill

Marcus Edward Sawhill, 42, of Coatesville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, June 22, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of Amber Lynne McFadden, with whom he shared six years of marriage.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Marcus was the son of the late Clark Edward Sawhill and Judy Kay McCarraher, and Mark and Pat McCarraher.

He was a 1993 graduate of Coatesville Area High School.

He was a NASCAR enthusiast.  His favorite driver was Matt Kenseth.  He loved being the life of the party.  His laugh was both contagious and obnoxious.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by his two children: Peyton Kay Sawhill and Logan Edward Sawhill; his siblings, Michelle Sawhill, Katelyn Yurick, wife of Joe, Michael McCarraher, fiancé of Meagan Jordan, Brittney Sawhill, and Shawn Van Gehr, husband of Dareth; his nieces and nephews, Kala, Ciara, Isaiah, Nathan, Lucas, Aubrie, Cecilie, Tyler, Alex, Dalton, Aiden, Julia, Leah, Harper, Daniel, Ella; his maternal grandparents, Judy and Bob Johnston; and his paternal grandparents, Wilmer and Dorothy McCarraher.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 1st at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg with a visitation from 9 until 11 AM.  The service will be led by family and friends.  If you are willing to share during the sharing time, please come prepared with a good story about Marcus.
