Malcolm I. Boyd

Mal colm I. Boyd, 78, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 after a brief illness.  He was the beloved husband of Ursula Boyd of Glenmoore with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.



Born on July 27, 1932 at home in Parkesburg, he was the son of William and Velma Hilton Boyd.  He attended Parkesburg High School, graduating in 1951.  In 1955 he graduated with "Summa Cum Laude" from Mullenberg College. After college he served honorably in the US Army for two years.  While stationed in Berlin, Germany, he met his wife Ursula.



Malcolm practiced successfully as a CPA for 47 years.  He was brilliant at his job.

He loved basketball, old movies and he collected cars.

He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Susan U. Boyd of Downingtown, who was not only his beloved daughter but also his Office Manager for 27 years, and his son Steve M. Boyd and wife Tiffany of Parkesburg.



Interment will be private and handled by the Wilde Funeral Home of Parkesburg.
