Lucy B. Gazzerro

Lucy B. Gazzerro, 93, of Westwood - Coatesville, passed away from natural causes at her home on Sunday, May 29, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Dominick A. (Rach)  Gazzerro who died in 2001. They shared 53 years of marriage. Born in Wagontown, she was the daughter of the late Louis Duda and Stefania Duda and stepmother Jennie Duda.

Lucy was an area resident all her life. She was employed for 45 years as a seamstress and after retirement her greatest pleasure was creating costumes for her daughter's dance school. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church of Coatesville.

She is survived by four children; Linda Gazzerro and partner Stephen Croce of Mantua, NJ, Dina Gazzerro Kinney and husband Michael of Westwood - Coatesville, Dominick "Kevin" Gazzerro and wife Dawn of Downingtown, Vanessa Gazzerro Christman and husband Larry
of Downingtown, one grandson Daniel Christman of Downingtown, and three siblings; Betty Buchanan of Sadsburyville, Bernice Otap of Columbus, GA and Joseph Duda and wife Lynne of Sadsburyville. She was preceded in death by five siblings; Josephine Hunt, Stella
Chiz, Lilly Misera, Louis Duda and Vera Polakovic.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA with visitation from 10 to 11am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Downingtown.
