Lorraine M. Jenkins

Lorraine M. Jenkins, 89, of Coatesville, was called to be with the Lord on April 21, 2017 at Harrison Senior Living in Christiana, PA. She was born in Brewton, AL where she attended Southern Normal High School.

Lorraine Jenkins was a graduate of Immaculata University. She spent most of her life working as a Social Worker and Missionary. She loved people and working for the Lord. Best describe her attributes as "Fruit of the Spirit". Strong faith, love, joy, peace and kindness

She was a member of the Holy Tabernacle Church of God in Christ of Philadelphia. She was also a member of the Epsilon Omega Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

She was the daughter of the late James DuBoise and Willie Palmer DuBoise. She is survived by three children; Thomas Jenkins of Detroit, Mich., Barbara Martinez of Coatesville and Lisa Smith of Detroit, Mich., 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and one brother Rev. James DuBoise of Alabama. She was preceded in death by three children; Cardell Jenkins, Clauzell Jenkins, Jr. and Jeannie Jenkins and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 11am at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Church of Christ Cemetery in Ercildoun. Viewing and visitation from 9 to 10:45am.
