Lorraine A. Bair

Lorraine A. Bair, 90, of Coatesville, died on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at the Masonic Villages in Elizabethtown . She was the wife of the late S. Lewis Bair who died in 1987 and her first husband William W. Melrath who died in 1961. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Smith Beecher. An area resident most of her life, she was employed by the former Devitts Hardware of Coatesville. She was a member of West Grove U. Methodist Church and the Order of The Eastern Star.

She is survived by one son Theodore B. Melrath and wife Judith of Coatesville, one grandson William Gregory Melrath and wife Julie of Pequea, PA and five great grandchildren; Chelsea and Katherine Melrath, Ryan, Jared and Ian Aston, step great grandson Bryan Speece and five nieces.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Audra Melrath Aston, two sisters and one brother.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10am at the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville.
