Loretta E. Bingaman

Loretta E. Bingaman, 87, of Leola, PA, passed away at her home on Friday, September 13, 2024.  She was the wife of the late Harry R. Bingaman who passed away in 2014.  Born in Birchrunville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Hazel Bartholomew Barkman.

Loretta worked a few jobs in the Coatesville area, including The Coatesville Record newspaper, Harrison House, and as a caregiver. Loretta loved watching and taking care of her grandkids.

Loretta also was the best hugger in the world, when she gave you a hug, you knew it.

She is survived by her children, Arthur "Ed" Martin (Katie), of Honey Brook, PA, and Elaine Martin-Sloan (Marty) of Leola, grandchildren, Amy McCoy, Audrey Mayo (Cliff), Jason Engle, Justin Martin and Heather Martin, great-grandchildren, Daniel McCoy, Lily Mayo, Dominic Mayo, Airyn Hernandez, Sophia Hernandez, and Elaina Hernandez, and siblings, Carl Barkman (Dee) of GA, Dave Barkman (Bonnie) of East Earl, PA, and Linda Wasson of FL.  She was preceded in death by siblings, Wallace, Marshall, Ernest, Doris, Esther, Cynthia, and Lawrence.
