Lois W. Dickey

Lois W. Dickey, 88, of Honey Brook, formerly of Parkesburg, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the Tel-Hai Retirement Community. She was the beloved wife of Harold R. "Bud" Dickey with whom she shared 70 years of marriage. Born in Penn Township, Chester county, she was the daughter of the late William Horace Wright and Olive Baker Wright.

Lois was an area resident all her life and a 1952 graduate of the former H. Scott High School in Coatesville. She was employed for 30 years by Bell Telephone as a supervisor in West Chester and Coatesville.

She was a member of the Parkesburg United Presbyterian Church and also the Coatesville Order of the Eastern Star serving as Worthy Matron.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by one son Dale A. Dickey and wife Ann of East Fallowfield, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Harold H. Dickey and four siblings; Mildred Maule, Paul, James and John Wright.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Tel-Hai Chapel, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. Eastern Star services will be performed at 10:45 AM. Interment will follow after funeral services at the Upper Octorara Cemetery, Parkesburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzehiemers Foundation or Tel Hai Retirement Community, 1200 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, PA 19344.
