Linda F. Creed

June 26, 1952 — May 8, 2023

Linda F. Creed, 70, of Parkesburg, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at Tel Hai Nursing Facility in Honey Brook. Born in Johnson City, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ulysses G. Creed and Mae E. (Woods) Creed. She was the wife of Larry Lowman.

She attended Octorara High School and went on to serve as a customer service representative for Wal-Mart for many years. She valued time spent with her family, thrift shopping, listening to music, and crafting.

She is survived in addition to her husband by two children: Angela Watts and husband Jason of Christiana, Melinda Mclaughlin, and husband Brandon of Narvon. Additionally, she is survived by two grandchildren: Reggie Watts and partner Carlee of Lampeter and Cheyenne Watts and partner Matt of Glenmoore, Pennsylvania.

She is preceded in death by her brother Larry Creed.

The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Tel Hai and Compassus Hospice. Mom was in the presence of family even when we weren’t with her. The staff allowed mom to die with dignity and grace but also allowed her to still have quality of life in the most trying of times. We will forever be grateful.

The family requested a private graveside service to be held at 3 PM on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Penningtonville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 406 Main St., Atglen, Pennsylvania, 19310.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wilde Funeral Home in Linda’s honor to help defray funeral expenses.
