Lester R. Pugh

Lester R. Pugh, 72, of Coatesville, died on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester. He was the husband of the late Sally Smith Pugh. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Earl and Mary Rhoades Pugh. Lester was employed for 33 years by the Lukens Steel Co. in Coatesville retiring in 1996. He enjoyed trips to the shore, motorcycles and his grandchildren.

He is survived, by four children; Jon Pugh and wife Sheri of Sadsburyville, Glenn Pugh of Parkesburg, Patty, wife of Rick Alexander of Strasburg, and Sharon, wife of Mike Forry of Rheinholds, two stepsons Jimmy and Todd Morris, eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four siblings, Bob Rhoades of Westwood, Larry Rhoades of Pomeroy, Dean Rhoades of Sadsburyville and Dianne Grande of West Caln. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter Darcy.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg with visitation from 10 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to the Wilde Funeral Home to help defray the cost of the Funeral.
