Larry Leroy Lawrence, Sr.

Larry Leroy Lawrence, Sr., 74, of Coatesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Born in Modena, he was the son of the late Franklin L. Lawrence and Bertha C. Taylor Triplett.

Larry was an area resident all his life. He enlisted in the US Army in 1967 and went on to serve in Vietnam obtaining the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1970.

He was employed by Pepperidge Farm for over 30 years as a truck driver and later as a scaler mixer.

He is survived by three children; Leda Marie Hart and husband Todd of Coatesville, Susan Rae Lawrence of Thorndale and Larry L. Lawrence, Jr. and wife Amy of Coatesville, four grandchildren Brian, Brandy, Kendall and Aubree and one sister Helen Lawrence of West Grove, PA.

Graveside services will be held on Monday January 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery, 786 Oak Street, Coatesville, PA.

In addition to  flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Brandywine Valley SPCA or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

The family requests that attendees wear masks to the service.  Due to COVID there will be no gathering for lunch afterwards.
