Kyle John Kimbro

October 7, 1957 — February 8, 2025

Kyle John Kimbro, 67, of Parkesburg passed away at his home on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Kermit James Kimbro and Merlyn Thoinette Erickson. He attended Del City High School. He worked at Sonobond Ultrasonics for 25 years then moved on and partnered with NAWON USA as an independent contractor for the last 20 years.

Kyle loved spending time with his family and was a loving Father and Grandfather, a truly selfless man who always put others first. An avid traveler and die hard Oklahoma Sooners and Philadelphia Eagles fan, he found immense joy in exploring the world’s beauty, with New Zealand and Switzerland holding a special place in his heart. Whether it was the stunning landscapes or the peaceful moments of adventure, those destinations became part of his traveling memories to share. He gave his time and energy freely, never expecting anything in return. Whether helping a neighbor, offering thoughtful advice, or simply being a steady, supportive presence, his generosity, boundless kindness, warmth, and compassion touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. His sharp, dry wit was equally memorable—often catching people off guard with a perfectly timed comment or subtle expression that brought unexpected laughter. He had a rare talent for finding humor in life’s moments, big or small, making every situation a little brighter.

He is survived by his best friend, Dana Kimbro, with whom he shared four children: Joshua A. Kimbro, Christa T. Corum (Dallas), Zachary R. Kimbro and Jessica A. Kimbro all residing in Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is survived by eleven grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by four siblings: Karen Shaw, Kim Wheeler, Kevin Kimbro and Keith Erickson.
