Kenneth W. Longabaugh

Kenneth W. Longabaugh, 66, of Parkesburg, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Donna P. Longabaugh with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Pearl Beatrice Wertz Longabaugh of West Chester and the late Earl E. Longabaugh.

Ken was an area resident all his life and a 1968 graduate of the Coatesville High School. He was employed all his life as a carpenter.

He is survived, in addition to his mother, by his daughter Carrie Lynn Smoker and husband Allen of Parkesburg, six grandchildren; Richard, David and Kenneth Deck and Damien, Stephanie and Nicholas Smoker, one great grandchild and four siblings; George Longabaugh of Beartown, PA, David Longabaugh of Slaterville Spring, NY, Ann Reynolds of E. Fallowfield, PA and Kay Althouse of Christiana, PA and his beloved cat Boo.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11am at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Mt. Zion Methodist Cemetery of Narvon. Viewing from 10 to 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ken's memory to the Chester Co. SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
