Kathryn I. Matson

Kathryn I. Matson, 93, formerly of West Grove, died on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Ware Presbyterian Village in Oxford. She was the Widow of Lester "Spike" Matson who died in 2007. Born in Lincoln University, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen Smith Massey.
Kathryn was an area resident all her life and 1940 graduate of the Avon Grove High School.

She is survived by two daughters; Patricia A., wife of Donald Coldiron of Lincoln University and Jacqueline "Jackie" Matson of Puyallup, WA, nine grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and one brother Robert A. Massey of West Grove. She was preceded in death by two siblings; Beatrice Messimer and John Massey, Jr. and one grandson Michael Jaye Coldiron.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Oxford Cemetery. Viewing from 10 to 11am.
