Judith C. Norman

Judith C. Norman, 82, of Parkesburg, passed away at her home on Friday, June 3, 2016. She was the wife of the late Harry F. Norman, Jr. who died in 2009. Born in Parkesburg, she was the daughter of the late Horace M. Althouse and Sara Ann McFarland.

Judy was a lifelong resident of her beloved Parkesburg and a 1951 graduate of the former Parkesburg High School.  She was also a member of the Parkesburg Episcopal Church of the Ascension.

Judy enjoyed playing bridge with friends and neighbors and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children; William Glenn Norman, and wife Ellen, of Jackson, NJ and Andrea C. Werder, wife of Charles, of Malvern.  The loves of her life were her grandchildren, Caroline E. Werder and Charles J. Werder. She was preceded in death by one sister Charlotte Cozzone.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, followed by interment at the Upper Octorara Cemetery.  Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing on Monday morning from 10am until the time of the service.
