Joseph J. Ciaccia

Joseph J. Ciaccia, 92, of Coatesville, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Harrison Senior Living of Coatesville. He was the beloved husband of Violet A. Laurento Ciaccia with whom he shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, he was an area resident all his life. Mr. Ciaccia was a decorated WWII Veteran who proudly served in the US Army in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. Joe was employed for 35 years by Lukens Steel as a machinist. He was a member of Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic Church in Coatesville.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by two sons; John Ciaccia of Downingtown and Kenneth Ciaccia and wife Kathy of Honey Brook, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11am from Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic Church, 80 South 17th Ave., Coatesville, PA followed by interment at All Souls Cemetery.
