Joseph Bennett, Jr.

Joseph Bennett, Jr., 82, of Coatesville, died on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Coatesville VA Hospice Unit. He was the husband of the late Anne Marie Bennett who died in 2014. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Joseph Bennett, Sr. and Emma Wilson Bennett.

Joe was an area resident all his life and a graduate of the former Scott High School. Later he continued his education at Steven's Trade School in Lancaster. He proudly served in the US Army.

He was employed as a calibrator retiring from Qualtech of Exton, PA.

He is survived by four children; Lisa MacMullen and husband Craig of Coatesville, J. Bradley Bennett of Coatesville, and fiancé Darlene Young, Joseph Bennett, III of Aston, and Jakki Bennett of Aston, three step children Jerry Denithorn of Coatesville, Brian Denithorn of Maryland and Beth Denithorn of Coatesville, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at St. Cecilia's Cemetery in Coatesville. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing from 10 to 11 AM.
