Joseph B. Hawk

Joseph B. Hawk, Jr., 76, of the Brandywine Hall in Caln Twp., Coatesville, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at his residence.

Born in Parkesburg, he was the son of the late Bessie Russell Hawk and Joseph B. Hawk, Sr. An area resident his entire life, he was a 1953 graduate of the Scott High School. He was employed by the Dopaco Paper Co. of Downingtown.

He was known on WCOJ AM as the "Coatesville Wolf Man."

He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Hawk of Coatesville and his three siblings, Charles Hawk of Bernville, Ronald R. Hawk of Coatesville and Joann Nethery of Coatesville.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the The Episcopal Church of the Trinity, 323 E. Lincoln Highway, Coatesville, PA 19320, followed by internment in the Fairview Cemetery of Coatesville. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation, which will take place from 10 until 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Episcopal Churchof the Trinity at the above address.
