Jose Isabel Lara Pantoja

Jose Isabel Lara Pantoja, 67, of Cochranville passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Born in Guanajuato, Mexico he was the son of the late Miguel Lara and Catalina Pantoja of Mexico. He was the beloved husband of Fidelina Lara with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.

Jose was a member of Saint Rocco’s Parish of Avondale. He enjoyed time spent with family, gardening, grilling, and landscaping at his home.

He was most recently employed by Tasty Baking Company in Oxford, serving in the maintenance department before his recent retirement.

He is survived in addition to his mother and wife by two children: Lourdes Lara and husband Darrell Weber and Madeline Barboza and husband Jonathan Barboza, three grandchildren: Sofia Weber, Lily Barboza, and Alex Barboza. Additionally, he is survived by ten brothers and ten sisters.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from St. Rocco’s Parish, 313 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation period from 5 PM until the start of mass.  Interment will follow at 10 AM on Friday , October 14, 2022, from Oxford Cemetery 220 N. 3 ^rd Street, Oxford, PA 19363.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Wilde Funeral Home to defray funeral expenses.

José Isabel Lara Pantoja, 67 años, de Cochranville, falleció en su hogar el miércoles, 5 de octubre de 2022. Nacido en Guanajuato, México fue el hijo de Miguel Lara y Catalina Pantoja de México. Él fue el amado esposo de Fidelina Lara y con quien compartió 46 años de casados.

José fue miembro de Saint Rocco’s Parish de Avondale. Él disfrutaba pasar tiempo con la familia juntos, cuidando el jardín, asando, y cortando el césped de su casa.

Era empleado reciente de la compañía Tasty Baking en Oxford, sirviendo en el departamento de mantenimiento antes de su reciente retiro.

Además de su madre y su esposa, le sobreviven sus dos hijas: Lourdes Lara y su esposo Darrell Weber y Madeline Barboza y su esposo Jonathan Barboza, tres nietos: Sofía Weber, Lily Barboza, y Alex Barboza. Además, le sobreviven sus diez hermanos y diez hermanas.

Una santa misa cristiana y velatorio serán celebrados a las 6:30 p.m. el jueves, 13 de octubre de 2022, desde Saint Rocco’s Parish, 313 Sunny Dell Road, Avondale, PA 19311. Amigos y familiares están invitados a asistir a la visitación periodo de 5 p.m. hasta que la misa comience. El velatorio comenzará el viernes a las 10 a.m., el 14 de octubre de 2022, desde el cementerio de Oxford, 220 N. 3rd Street, Oxford, PA 19363.
