John H. Good Iii

John Howard Good III, 92, of Parkesburg, PA, formally of Glenmoore, passed away in York, PA, on Sunday, October, 23, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Helen Marie Good.  Born in Honey Brook, PA, he was the son of the late John H. Jr. and Ruth V. Rodgers Good.

John retired from Pepperidge Farm in Downingtown where he worked as a mixer.  He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army and was a member of Kings Way Independent Church in Sadsburyville, PA. Dad loved hunting & Fishing, loved to watch the Phillies and Eagles. Loved being outside working in the yard, stopping to talk or say hi to anyone.

He is survived by his children; John H. Good IV of Ephrata, PA, Donna Marie (Steve) Loucks of Manchester, PA, Mark (Cindy) Good of Parkesburg, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and brothers, Donald W. Good of Narvon, PA, and Robert Good of Intercourse, PA.  He was preceded in death by his two sister, Marjorie and Dorothy.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Forks of the Brandywine Cemetery, Glenmoore, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
