John G. Diem

John G. Diem, 73 of Honey Brook, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 22, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Darleen K. Ranck Diem with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late John D. Diem and Lillian Martin Diem.

John was an area resident all his life and a 1969 graduate of the CASH high school in Coatesville. He was employed by PennDot as an equipment operator.

He was an avid hunter and he also enjoyed motorcycle riding but most of all, he cared for his family first.

He is survived, in addition to his wife, by three children; Heather Clark and husband John of Raeford, NC, John R. Diem and wife Jennifer of Narvon, PA and Kody Diem of Honey Brook, 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and one sister Charlene Regner of Brownstown, PA. He was preceded in death by one daughter Kristy Diem Noel who died in 2008.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 with a viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Friendship Methodist Cemetery in Gum Tree, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Wilde Funeral Home at the above address to help defray funeral expenses.
