Joanne S. Eckman

Joanne S. Eckman, 67, of Coatesville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife of James H. Eckman, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Born in Ashland, PA, she was the daughter of the late John E. Ney and Doris M. Herb Ney.

Joanne was an area resident all her life and a 1972 graduate of the Coatesville Area High School. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by one son James M. Eckman and wife Bobi of Coatesville, two twin sisters; Anne Morris of Benton, PA and Diane Eckenbach of Coatesville and one brother John Ney of Coatesville. She was preceded in death by one brother Edward Ney.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Parkesburg United Methodist, 411 Main St. Parkesburg, PA 19365 with visitation at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
