Joanna Fay Blounts

Joanna Fay Blounts, 64, of Wilmington, DE, passed away on Friday, October 4th, 2019 at her daughter's home in Kirkwood, PA.  She was the beloved wife of Stanley L. Blounts, Jr., with whom she shared 24 years of marriage.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Helen Fay (Howell) Brisach and John R. Pugh.

Joanna was a graduate of Oxford High School and a member of New Beginnings Church of the Cross.

She is survived by three children: Shannon Giroso, wife of Vincent, of Kirkwood, Erin Blounts of Elizabethtown and Michael Blounts of Florida; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and siblings, John Pugh of Elkton, MD, Donald Pugh of Nottingham, Dale Pugh of Newport, DE, and Kathy Reburn of Oxford.

Joanna was predeceased by a grandson, Brandon Townsend and a brother, David Pugh.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at New Beginnings Church of the Cross, 1 Penn Ave., Christiana, PA with a time of fellowship after the service.
