Joan Fox Cambria

Joan Fox Cambria, 94, passed away at home in Cochranville, PA, on December 9, 2019.

Originally from Naugatuck, CT, she was the daughter of the late Percival and Martha (Hansleit) Fox.  She graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1943 and then trained to be a nurse at Waterbury Hospital.  She was a volunteer in many organizations throughout her lifetime but was particularly proud of serving as a Red Cross disaster recovery nurse.

Joan was the widow of the late Lawrence Cambria, who passed away in 1991 after 40 years of marriage.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Donna Cooper, of Lexington, KY, as well as two grandsons and several great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
