Jerry F. Leeson

Jerry F. Leeson, 56, of Coatesville, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, Decemeber 30, 2010 surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 28th 1954 to the late James and Rachel Leeson in Oxford, West Virginia.

Jerry was a beloved brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed Church, gospel music, swinging on the porch, ice cream and of course the fire house. He was a member of the Modena Fire Company were he received an award for being such an inspiration to the company firefighters/emts, many of which were his own family. Jerry was a remarkable man, whose heart was bigger than most, and smile lit up any room he walked into.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded into Heaven by his neice Debbie Perine.

He is survived by his sister he lived with Lucille Perine, wife of Alfred of Coatesville, sister Patty wife of Bob Hickman of Parkersburg W. VA, brother James Leeson and wife Norma Jean of Viena W.VA and brother Charles Leeson of Parkersburg, W.VA.

In addition to his siblings, 10 nieces and nephews, 22 great nieces and nephews and 6 great, great nieces and nephews, are left to carry on his memory.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday January 4th 2011, from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main Street Parkesburg, Pa from 6pm-8pm. Burial services will follow in West Union, W.VA later in the week.
