Jennie Veronica Gavin

Jennie Veronica Gavin, 86, formally of Coatesville,  passed away in Shermandales, Pa. on February 25, 2020.  Born in Chester County, she was the daughter of the late William and Queeny Nolan.

She attended St. Agnes High School and graduated from St. Anastasia in 1951.  She was employed by the  Kraft Bus Company for 25 years.  She enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles, horse racing, gambling, Coors Light and living it up with her friends.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Gavin, and companion RJ Miller, of Shermansdale, PA; two grandchildren, Ronald Gavin of Millersburg, PA and Sarah Donnell Gavin of Dillsburg, PA; four great grandchildren; one brother William Nolan; and daughter-in-law, Debra Gavin.

Jennie was predeceased by her son Robert Gavin, and siblings Catherine Doty and Edward Nolan.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, Pa. with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Downingtown.
