Jeannette Marie "Jean" Mangiovillano

Jeannette Marie "Jean" Mangiovillano, 84, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, in Paoli, PA,  after a brief illness.   She was the devoted wife of the late Philip Joseph Mangiovillano, for over 41 years, before he passed away in 2019. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mary Warnick Baer.

Jean had worked as a secretary for many years and most recently at the FMC Corporation. She was the co-owner of Sloms Uniform Store in Abbington, PA. prior to retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Downingtown and faithfully received weekly communion at her home for many years. She enjoyed a quiet life of simple pleasures, her cozy home, crossword puzzles, daily devotionals and watching EWTN, shopping, following the Phillies, and going out to breakfast with her family.

She will be missed by her three stepchildren, Ann (Ronald) Hoopes, of Coatesville, Maryjane Holmes, of Frazer, and Philip (Joanna) Mangiovillano , of Downingtown, grandchildren; Kevin Hoopes, Philip Mark Mangiovillano, Hanna Mangiovillano, and Katy Holmes, and her  nephew, William  Baer and a niece, Andrea Baer, both of Philadelphia.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, William Baer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Coatesville.
