Jean Paul Eckbold, 88, of West Bradford, passed away at his home on Monday, December 7, 2020. He was the husband of Judith Ann Fry Eckbold for over 65 years. Born in Placid Pines, NJ, he was the son of the late Leroy and Marie Boche Eckbold.
A generous and caring man in constant motion, he had a wide variety of interests and talents. His many ventures included starting his own builders' planning company specializing in building and land development. Well known by many throughout central Chester County, he was a member of the Romansville United Methodist Church and he proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Kent (Earl) and Mark, twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one niece. One daughter, one granddaughter, two brothers, and a nephew precede him in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Romansville United Methodist Church, 1859 Strasburg Rd., Coatesville, PA 19320.
