Jean H. Brown

Jean Hubler Brown, 99, of Caln, PA, passed away at her son's home in Parkesburg, PA, on Monday, May 8, 2023.  She was the wife of the late Charles H. Brown Sr.  Born in Palestine, Clearfield County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Hubler and Alberta Crowell Hubler Wolownik and the stepdaughter of the late Joseph Wolownik of Coatesville, PA.

Jean was a member of the Thorndale Methodist Church and graduated from Scott High School in 1942.  She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, and making quilts.  She loved her family and being a mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Chuck (Nancy) Brown of Parkesburg, and Mark Brown of New Holland, PA, daughters, LeAnne (Russell) Enright of California, and Joan (Dominic) Luminello of Downingtown, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and siblings, James Wolownik of Coatesville, and Saundra Wolownik of Bomansville, PA.  She was preceded in death by siblings, Wilda Old of Camp Hill, PA, and Carole Alderman of Coatesville.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
