Janis T. Nippes

Janis T. Nippes, 71, of Honey Brook, passed away at her home on Monday, October 7, 2024. She was the beloved wife of David C. Nippes with whom she shared over 45 years of marriage together. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Louis J. Torre and Rose Baldassarre Torre.

Janis was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the clerical department.

She was a member of the Greater Downingtown BPW.

She enjoyed painting and crafts. She applied her talents to painting her husband's HO train figures that turned out much better then store bought versions, she also loved Disney, especially Olaf and Stitch. She collected snowmen and down through the years, amassed a collection of over 8000 snowmen.

She is survived, in addition to her husband, by one daughter Sarah, wife of Andrew Norris, three grandchildren, Alaina, Cadence and Evan James Norris, brother-in-law Keith Nippes and wife Susan and their daughters; Devon and Brittany, brother-in-law Robert Sieben and wife Kathy and their children Morgan, Heather, Tristan and Shannon and cousins; Jody, Victor and Della Barba, Glenn and Marian Bozzzacco, Patty Teti and Ilene Flood. She was preceded in death by one brother Louis R. Torre. She will be greatly missed by their recently acquired four legged friend "Bonnie".

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St. Parkesburg, PA.
